The Chief Minister held a virtual meeting with all the Mandalayuktas, District Magistrates, CMOs, and Team-11 members regarding Covid management. He said that the role of monitoring committees is very important in the present circumstances. The monitoring committee is also responsible for keeping the Covid Help Desk active in public places along with all the arrangements related to publicity for awareness. He directed that it should be made mandatory to wear masks in public places and also to take action on the need for infotainment.
It has been reported that monitoring committees have been formed in the districts under the leadership of village heads. This includes the Panchayat Secretary and those associated with the Health Department. Through these committees, information related to the village countryside will reach the authorities concerned. Ward councilors in cities, people who are active in the neighborhood, members of social and women's organizations are also in the committee. The Chief Minister's Office has again started taking feedback from the monitoring committee.
