The patron of Uttarakhand Maxi Taxi Federation Sanjay Chopra said that the epidemic of Covid-19 in the state is also a challenge. Along with such a challenge, the state government needs to think about how the pilgrimage and tourism trade of Uttarakhand residents should be conducted. They say that in 2019, in Uttarakhand Haridwar, Rishikesh, the operation of trains was stopped due to repair works and since then Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra has not been operated due to the global epidemic of Covid-19. The transport and tourism industry is in complete ruin.
Why not travel when elections can be held.
They say that, when Kumbh Mela can be held, panchayat elections can be held in UP and elections can be held in Bengal, then why can't the Char Dham Yatra be conducted?
