Now women also took out a rally in Afghanistan in support of the women of Iran. However, during a demonstration here on Thursday, Taliban fighters opened fire in the air to disperse the rally.

The Taliban has been facing an insurgency from Afghanistan since the Taliban came back to power in August last year. Since coming to power, the Taliban have imposed extremely stringent restrictions on civilians, especially women, by enforcing Sharia law.
