The hearing of the Maa Shringar Gauri-Gyanvapi case of Varanasi will be held on Thursday in the court of District Judge Dr. Ajay Krishna Vishwesh. According to the order of the Supreme Court, the court will decide whether the case related to Maa Shringar Gauri is worth hearing on the application of the Anjuman Inazaniya Masajid Committee. The court's order will decide the course of the further hearing of the case. On the other hand, the former Mahant of Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Dr. VC Tiwari has given up food.
There is also a possibility that the parties can also file an objection to the survey report of the Advocate Commissioner of the Gyanvapi campus.
Former Mahant of Vishwanath temple gave up food
Former Mahant of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Dr. VC Tiwari has given up food. Dr. Vice Chancellor Tiwari told 'Dainik Bhaskar' on Thursday morning that until he gets the right to worship the Shivling found in Gyanvapi, he will not take food.
The former Mahant said that he was hurt by the rumors being spread about him. Some people are systematically spreading rumors that the petition filed by them for the right to worship the Shivling found in Gyanvapi has been withdrawn. Whereas, it is nothing like that. If all goes well, today his petition will be heard in the district judge's court.
Anjuman Inazaniya Masajid Committee had filed an objection in January
The case related to mother Shringar Gauri was filed by five women in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division Ravi Kumar Diwakar on August 18, 2021. In the course of the hearing, the respondent Anjuman Inazaniya Masajid Committee, in January, referred to the Places of Worship (Special Provisions) Act, 1991 in the court and said that this case is not maintainable.
According to the committee, after dismissing his appeal, the court of Civil Judge Senior Division appointed Advocate Commissioner and ordered a survey of Gyanvapi premises. The Masajid Committee filed a petition in the Supreme Court on May 13 against the survey order. Hearing this, the Supreme Court ordered on 20 May that the District Judge should hear the application made by the Masajid Committee under Order 7 Rule 11 whether the case is maintainable or not.
New case transferred to fast track court
In the Gyanvapi episode, on May 24, a new case was filed by Kiran Singh, International General Secretary of Vishwa Vedic Sanatan Sangh in the name of Lord Adi Vishweshwar Virajman. On May 25, the case was transferred to the fast track court by the order of the district judge. The hearing of this case will take place on May 30.
Order can also come on these 4 applications
Faujdari advocate Harishankar Pandey had demanded from the court to register a case against 7 named and 200 unknowns including SP President Akhilesh Yadav. He says that the leaders have hurt the religious sentiments of the people by making unnecessary statements during the Gyanvapi episode. Also, despite the Shivling being found in the mosque, people there washed their hands and mouth and rinsed. This has caused immense suffering to the devotees of Lord Shiva. The court of ACJM Pancham Ujjwal Upadhyay has fixed May 26 for a hearing by ordering to file a miscellaneous suit. Tomorrow there will be a hearing on the maintainability of the case, that is, whether the case is maintainable or not.
Former Mahant of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Dr. VC Tiwari has given an application in the court of the District Judge. They say that the Shivling of Adi Vishweshwar has been found in the Gyanvapi Mosque. Since the time of Akbar's reign, his ancestors have been worshiping Baba Vishwanath. Therefore, they should be given the right of regular worship, bath, makeup, and enjoyment of the Shivling found in the Gyanvapi Mosque. It is expected that today the court can pronounce its order on the petition of the former Mahant.
Along with the demand of DGC for shifting the fish of Gyanvapi Masjid to other places and arrangement of toilets etc. can.
