Gurugram. The outbreak of corona infection in the district has reduced considerably now, but the death toll of patients is not taking the name of decrease. In the same sequence, 9 patients died due to corona infection in the district on Wednesday, while a minimum of 83 new patients of the month came so far. At the same time, 337 infected were declared healthy.
With this, the total number of patients in the district has increased to 1 lakh 80 thousand 115, out of which 1 lakh 78 thousand 206 infected have become healthy. The outbreak of Corona started increasing at the beginning of April, which continued till the first week of May. From the second week onwards, when the effect of corona infection started decreasing, the number of new patients coming daily continued to decrease, while now the situation is almost under control. For the last about three weeks, the number of people recovering more than the patients coming to the district daily. With the death of 9 patients, the death toll has now risen to 836, out of which 563 patients were already suffering from some disease, while 273 did not have any serious disease. Now 1073 patients are active in the district, out of which 143 patients are under treatment in hospitals while 4 patients are undergoing treatment in Covid Care Center. Also, 926 infected are in home isolation. On Wednesday, 5433 people in the district gave samples for testing of the corona, out of which 1397 gave samples for rapid antigen test and 4036 patients for RT-PCR test.
