Corona in the country: Maharashtra's first Omicron infected person recovered and reached home, 100% of people got the first dose of vaccine in Pune

The first patient of Maharashtra infected with the new variant of coronavirus, Omicron, recovered completely and reached his home on Wednesday. This 33-year-old man, a marine engineer by profession, has been kept in quarantine at his house located in the Kalyan-Dombivli municipal area. Arrived at Delhi airport from South Africa via Dubai before taking off for Mumbai in the last week of November. After confirming that the corona was infected, its genome sequencing was done. So far 10 cases of Omicron variant have been reported in Maharashtra. After this, the state has issued strict guidelines for international travelers.

 

More than 150 active cases in MP after 124 days; Maximum 7 in Indore, 5 in Bhopal

 

Cases of corona infection are continuously coming up in Madhya Pradesh. In the last 24 hours, 19 corona positives have been found in the state. The maximum number of cases 7 have been found in Indore. After this 5 positives have come in Bhopal. Apart from this, 3 positives have been found in Jabalpur, 2 in Ujjain, 1-1 in Hoshangabad, and Singrauli. More than 150 active cases have come in the state after 124 days. Earlier there were 156 active cases on 7 August and 148 on 9 August.

 

9,419 cases of corona in the country in the last 24 hours, 159 people died

According to the data of the Health Ministry, 9,419 cases of corona have been registered in the country in the last 24 hours and 159 people have died. At the same time, 8,251 people have been cured. At present, the number of active cases in the country is 94,742 and the recovery rate is 98.36%. So far 130.39 crore people in the country have received the vaccine dose. A total of 4,74,111 people have died in the country due to Corona.

 

Omicron likely to reach Goa too, symptoms of infection in travelers returning from Russia

Suspected cases of the Omicron variant have been reported in Goa. State Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that the suspects have returned from Russia to Goa via Delhi. He said that right now it cannot be called directly Omicron's case. His report is awaited. All have been kept in isolation. CM Sawant said that there is no need to create panic. I appeal to people to get the vaccine.

 

Instructions to keep all Omicron infected in separate isolation facilities

Because of the cases of Omicron in many states, the Center has directed the state governments to keep all Omicron infected patients in separate isolation facilities. Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, in a letter to states and UTs, asked them to ensure that there is no cross-infection among Omicron infected. At the same time, it has been instructed to take adequate precautions to prevent the spread of Omicron to other patients and health workers.

 

No case of Omicron in Punjab

Punjab Health Minister Om Prakash Soni informed that at present there is no Omicron case in the state. Foreign tourists are being tested. If any Covid positive comes then he is being quarantined for 7 days. In areas where vaccination has been reduced, medical teams are going to their homes and applying the vaccine.

 

In Kanpur-Agra, only 5 out of 100 passengers are getting corona test done at the railway station

Amidst the panic of the Omicron variant, new cases of corona have started increasing. To say, the government has increased surveillance at the railway station, bus station. But, the reality is not like this. In Kanpur and Agra, out of 100 passengers who landed at the railway stations, only 5 people get the corona test. Some go ahead by saying that both doses of the vaccine are in place, then some by pushing.
