At present, the number of active cases in the country is 94,742 and the recovery rate is 98.36%. So far 130.39 crore people in the country have received the vaccine dose. A total of 4,74,111 people have died in the country due to Corona.
Omicron likely to reach Goa too, symptoms of infection in travelers returning from Russia

Instructions to keep all Omicron infected in separate isolation facilities

Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, in a letter to states and UTs, asked them to ensure that there is no cross-infection among Omicron infected. At the same time, it has been instructed to take adequate precautions to prevent the spread of Omicron to other patients and health workers.
No case of Omicron in Punjab
Punjab Health Minister Om Prakash Soni informed that at present there is no Omicron case in the state. Foreign tourists are being tested. If any Covid positive comes then he is being quarantined for 7 days. In areas where vaccination has been reduced, medical teams are going to their homes and applying the vaccine.
