Corona in UP: Lockdown extended for two days, know what will be closed and open in 10 points

The fast-growing corona cases in Uttar Pradesh are setting new records. The number of currently active cases in the state is 2,95,752. Because of this, the UP government is taking some new steps every day. To deal with this, Section 144 was imposed in many districts, then when this did not happen, night lockdown was imposed in the 10 most-affected cities of the state and then its time was extended. But because of new cases of record-breaking infection, the government has decided to extend the lockdown of three days by two more days in the entire state. Now this lockdown has been extended for two days i.e. Thursday till 7 am. The government has said that during this period, there will be complete closure, but shops of essential goods and essential services will continue. The lockdown, which was released on Friday evening, has now been extended till Thursday morning

 

During this time all the shops and services except the essential services like medical, grocery, etc. will be suspended.

 

For the first time, if you do not apply the mask, you will be fined one thousand rupees and the second time, if you commit the same mistake, you will have to pay a fine of Rs 10,000.

 

Passes will be issued to people associated with essential services.

 

Malls, gyms, spas, and auditoriums will remain closed. Restaurants will be open, but only home delivery is allowed.

 

No restriction on coming from other states.

 

Only 50 people are allowed to attend the Ishaadi celebrations in UP.

 

Apart from the weekly bandh, the night curfew already in operation will continue in UP.

 

Night curfew has been imposed in 10 districts from 7.00 am to 8.00 am. These include Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Kanpur Nagar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, and Gorakhpur.

 

All schools will remain closed till May 15, board examinations are also canceled.
