In such a situation, instead of reducing the restrictions, there is a need to increase.
Uttar Pradesh
On January 1, 380 cases were reported in Uttar Pradesh. On 7 January 4223 cases were found. In the first week of January, 11,465 active cases were found in the state and only 3 deaths occurred. On January 8, 6401 cases were found. On 14 January, it increased to 15975. Between January 8 and January 14, 72,113 active cases were found and the death toll increased to 31.
On January 1, 316 cases were reported in Punjab. On January 7, 2874 cases were found. In the first week of January, there were 8,658 active cases and 15 deaths in the state. On January 8, 3560 cases were received. On January 14, it increased to 7554. Between January 8 and January 14, 24,878 active cases were found and the death toll increased to 68.
Uttarakhand
On January 1, 118 cases were reported in Uttarakhand. On 7 January, 814 cases were found. In the first week of January, there were 1,720 active cases and 5 deaths in the state. On January 8, 1560 cases were received. On January 14, it increased to 3200. Between January 8 and January 14, 10,327 active cases were found and the death toll increased to 15.
Goa
On January 1, 310 cases were reported in Goa. 1432 cases were found on 7 January. In the first week of January, 4,885 active cases and 8 deaths occurred in the state. On January 8, 1789 cases were found. It increased to 3145 on 14 January. Between January 8 and January 14, 12,666 active cases were found and the death toll increased to 16.
Manipur
On January 1, 19 cases were reported in Manipur. On January 7, 48 cases were found. In the first week of January, there were 147 active cases and 7 deaths in the state. On January 8, 76 cases were found. These increased to 116 on 14 January. Between January 8 and January 14, 598 active cases were found. However, the death toll came down to 3.
14.10 lakh active cases of corona in the country
On Friday, 2 lakh 67 thousand 331 new corona infections were found in the country. 1 lakh 22 thousand 311 people were cured while 398 people died. In this way, an increase of 1 lakh 44 thousand 662 was registered in the number of active cases, that is, the number of patients undergoing treatment. At present, there are 14.10 lakh active cases in the country. In the third wave, the active case has crossed 14 lakh for the first time.
