Corona threat in the country and the world: China opens all borders, 200 crore people will move in 40 days

With the increase in corona cases in China, the danger of a new wave is also looming in countries like India, Japan, Thailand, and America. Meanwhile, China has opened all the borders which were closed for three years. Passengers moved between Hong Kong and mainland China on Sunday. A big protocol like quarantine has also been abolished for these people.

 

Here, the risk of spreading the infection is increasing due to the new sub-variants of Corona being found in India. INSACOG co-chairman Dr. NK Arora said that in the last year, 300 sub-variants of Omicron have been found in the country. However, not a single one of these proved to be a major threat to us. This happened due to the development of herd immunity in Indians.

In the last 24 hours, 163 new cases of corona have been reported in India. Two people have died there. According to the Health Ministry, there are currently 2,423 active cases.

 

China: 200 million people will travel in 40 days

 

After the opening of the border in China, people will be able to travel without isolation. Lunar New Year in China will start on January 21. In such a situation, there is a possibility of the movement of 200 crore people in the country in the next 40 days. This will be the first Lunar New Year without any restrictions for the Chinese since the start of the pandemic.

 

According to the report of South China Morning Post, swab samples of passengers coming to the country will be collected for monitoring of corona variants. Then there will be genome sequencing. Apart from this, the local authority will have the freedom to ban social gatherings. Also, you will be able to suspend non-essential activities. The administration will also be able to order online classes and work from home.

 

Human rights activist Jennifer Zeng, who monitors the Chinese Communist Party, has shared a video on social media. According to this video, the dead bodies of those who died of corona are being taken to the crematorium by being loaded in trucks.

 

Japan: More than 2 lakh 38 thousand cases were found in one day

 

Corona is getting out of control in Japan too. According to Japan Times, 2 lahks 38 thousand 650 new cases were found here on Saturday. 387 people died. In the capital Tokyo itself, 19 thousand 630 cases were reported. Even now the condition of 668 patients infected with corona is critical.

 

The Health Ministry has made changes in the guidelines made regarding the funeral of those who died due to Corona. Now the last rites of those who lost their lives in Corona will be done in the normal way. The guideline came in July 2020 that the dead bodies of those who died of corona infection would first be filled in a bag and then the funeral would take place.

 

America: XBB.1.5 variant spreading fast

 

The American Health Agency Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that the cases of XBB.1.5 variant are increasing. The North-Eastern states account for 72% of the XBB.1.5 variant cases. At the same time, it has 27.6% of cases in the whole country. This variant was first detected in New York.

 

Thailand: Travelers will have to show a vaccination certificate

The Government of Thailand has issued a guideline for passengers coming from South-Asian countries. Under this, from January 9, passengers will have to show a vaccination certificate. Both the doses of the passengers should be complete.

 

So far 17 countries have banned travelers from China

Sweden, Germany, Malaysia, Qatar, Belgium, Australia, Canada, Morocco, France, the UK, Spain, the US, Japan, Israel, India, Italy, and South Korea have banned travelers from coming from China. Here passengers coming from China will have to show negative corona reports. Morocco has already banned travelers from China. Taiwan has also made Covid testing compulsory for those coming from China. Pakistan and the Philippines are also monitoring. Thailand and New Zealand have declined to impose any restrictions.

 

More than 66 crores 81 lakh cases in the world

According to the Corona world meter, so far 66 crores 81 lakh 58 thousand 29 cases have been reported in the world. On 11 January 2020, a 61-year-old man died in Wuhan, China. This was the first death due to corona in the world. After this, the process of death started increasing. So far 67 lahks 10 thousand 504 deaths have taken place.
