A health official said on Wednesday that four new cases of Omicron sub-variant BF.7 have been found in West Bengal. These people had recently returned from America. Three of the four people belong to the same family and are natives of the Nadia district, while one person hails from Bihar but currently lives in Kolkata. Testing of 33 people who came in contact with them has been done. At present, the condition of all four patients is stable.
