In the last two days, sudden cases of Coronavirus infection have increased in Bihar. As of 10 am Friday, there have been 60 cases of infection in Bihar. 15 of these people have recovered completely and gone to their respective homes, while one person has died. One thing to note is the cases of coronavirus infection spread in Bihar. While ventilator has taken place all over the world, there has been no need to place any Coronavirus patient in a ventilator or ICU in Bihar till now.
All the coronavirus-infected patients who have come here so far are being cured by quarantining them in separate wards and feeding them with malaria medicines. Coronavirus patients are being treated at Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) in Patna, capital of Bihar. So far, only two Coronavirus-positive patients have been able to shift to the emergency ward.
What is the expert's opinion
Director of Tropical Diseases Institute RMRI, P Das, said that there has been no research on whether immunity is high in Bihar or not. But people in Bihar face many types of viruses several months of the year. So it may be that the best line immunity system has been developed in the body of Biharis, but it has not been officially confirmed. He told that there is a possibility that the cross connection of the virus in the body of people of Bihar who have suffered many viruses has developed hard immunity.
Pradeep Das further explained that people growing up in the rural environment of Bihar face many types of viruses since childhood. Therefore, it is likely that their resistance is higher than the US and Europeans. However, he also said that it is a matter of research, so it is not easy to tell any conclusion right now.
Immunity strengthened by fighting malaria
It is known that malaria also has a significant effect in Bihar. Many people complain of malaria here every year. In such a situation, the experts also believe that in the face of malaria, the virus resistance of the people of Bihar must have increased. It is also worth noting here that malaria medicine is proving effective in treating people infected with Coronavirus virus. America has also sought malaria medicine from India.
