How will patients be home isolated?
If the doctors say in writing that the patient is asymptomatic or has mild symptoms, then such patients will be home isolated.
Such people will be home isolated, who have arrangements to quarantine the patient at home as well as the family who came in contact with them.
A person must be there 24 hours to take care of the patient. The caregiver and the doctor will remain in contact with each other until the patient's isolation is over.
The number of a control room will remain with the family and the isolated patient will be guided from time to time.
Can the elderly also be home isolated?
Elderly infected and people suffering from serious diseases above 60 years of age will be home isolated only after the permission of the doctor.
Patients suffering from HIV or cancer are not isolated at home, but it can be done if doctors allow home isolation after treatment.
Do's and Don'ts to Home Isolated Patients?
The isolated patient at home will have to stay away from the rest of the family members. Especially the elderly and people suffering from serious diseases such as BP, diabetes, and people suffering from cancer will have to keep a distance.
The room which has been selected by the Health Department for the patient will have to be isolated in the same room. Do not change rooms frequently.
The isolation room should be open and ventilated so that fresh air can pass in and out. The patient should keep the windows of his room open.
The isolated patient will have to use a triple layer mask even inside the room. If the mask becomes wet or dirty after 8 hours, it should be changed.
Both the person taking care of the patient and the patient should use an N-95 mask.
Before discarding the mask, cut it into pieces and put it in a paper bag for at least 72 hours. After that throw away the mask.
The patient should take a rest and should not let the lack of water in the body.
Be careful and wash your hands frequently. Wash hands with soap and use sanitizer for at least 40 seconds.
The patient will not have to share utensils or other items with any family member.
Useful items such as doors, switchboards, masks, and gloves should be kept clean by the caregiver or patient.
The patient should keep checking his pulse and oxygen level.
The infected person will check his body temperature every day and if his health deteriorates, then this matter will have to be immediately reported to the doctor and the control room.

Do not share things like patient utensils, water bottles, towels, and bedding.
Wearing gloves, clean the patient's utensils with soap/detergent.
Be sure to wash your hands after taking off the gloves.

How will the patient be treated at home?
The patient will be in direct contact with the doctor during isolation and will report immediately if his health deteriorates.
If the patient already has any disease, then he can take his medicines only after consulting the doctor.
On the advice of the doctor, patients can do gargles and can also take steam thrice a day.
The patient should avoid misinformation on social media.
Do not do things like medicine, blood checkups, and CT scans on your own without consulting a doctor.
When is it necessary to see a doctor during isolation?
If more than three fevers persist more than 100 degrees.
