रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड ने सोमवार को भारत के पहले अनन्य कोरोनोवायरस अस्पताल की स्थापना, जरूरतमंदों को भोजन, और स्वास्थ्यवर्धक और देखभाल करने वालों को सुरक्षात्मक गियर का प्रावधान करने के अलावा, PM-CARES फंड में 500 करोड़ रुपये का वादा किया।
पिछले हफ्ते, रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज ने भी COVID-19 के खिलाफ अपनी लड़ाई का समर्थन करने के लिए महाराष्ट्र और गुजरात की सरकारों को 5 करोड़ रुपये का योगदान देने की घोषणा की थी।
प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया, "रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड (आरआईएल) ने आज कोरोनोवायरस हमले के खिलाफ देश की लड़ाई का समर्थन करने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा आह्वान के जवाब में पीएम-कार्स फंड को 500 करोड़ रुपये का दान देने की घोषणा की।"
बयान में कहा गया है कि कंपनी अपने बहुस्तरीय प्रयासों को भी जारी रखे हुए है।
आरआईएल ने राष्ट्र को तैयार, खिलाया, आपूर्ति, सुरक्षित, जुड़ा हुआ है और अभूतपूर्व चुनौतियों के खिलाफ लड़ने और जीतने के लिए तैयार रखने के लिए अपनी कोशिशों को पूरा करने के लिए अपनी चौबीसों घंटे चलने की कोशिश जारी रखी है। कोरोनोवायरस महामारी द्वारा ", बयान में जोड़ा गया।
मुकेश अंबानी के हवाले से बयान में कहा गया, "हमें पूरा विश्वास है कि भारत जल्द से जल्द कोरोनोवायरस संकट पर विजय प्राप्त करेगा। रिलायंस की पूरी टीम संकट की इस घड़ी में देश के साथ है और इस लड़ाई को जीतने के लिए सब कुछ करेगी।" आरआईएल के अध्यक्ष और प्रबंध निदेशक ने कहा।
“जैसा कि राष्ट्र कोविद -19 महामारी से लड़ने के लिए आता है, रिलायंस फाउंडेशन में हम सभी अपने देशवासियों और महिलाओं के साथ एकजुटता से खड़े हैं, खासकर उन लोगों के लिए जो हमारे पूर्ण समर्थन का वादा करते हैं। हमारे डॉक्टरों और कर्मचारियों ने भारत के पहले सीओवीआईडी -19 अस्पताल की स्थापना में मदद की है और रिलायंस फाउंडेशन के संस्थापक चेयरपर्सन नीता अंबानी ने कहा कि सीओवीआईडी -19 के संपूर्ण स्क्रीनिंग, परीक्षण, रोकथाम और उपचार में सरकार का समर्थन करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि जरूरत है कि हाशिए पर रहने वाले और दैनिक मजदूरी करने वाले समुदायों का समर्थन करना, उन्होंने कहा कि "हमारे भोजन वितरण कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से, हम देश भर में लाखों लोगों को रोज़ाना खिलाने का लक्ष्य रखते हैं।"
इस महीने की शुरुआत में, आरआईएल ने कोरोनोवायरस महामारी के खिलाफ लड़ाई में योगदान देने के लिए कई उपायों की घोषणा की थी, जिसमें अस्थायी श्रमिकों को जारी वेतन, 100-बेड समर्पित COVID-19 अस्पताल की स्थापना और फेस-मास्क उत्पादन में सुधार शामिल है। कंपनी ने यह भी कहा है कि यह देश भर में अधिसूचित आपातकालीन प्रतिक्रिया वाहनों को मुफ्त ईंधन प्रदान करेगी।
