Famous ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas has passed away. He was ill for a long time. He was 72 years old. He was born on 17 May 1951 in Jetpur, Gujarat. Pankaj Udhas's daughter Nayaab Udhas has confirmed her father's demise.

 

Sharing this sad news on his Instagram account, Nayaab Udhas wrote, 'With a heavy heart and great sadness, we have to inform you all that Padmashree Pankaj Udhas has passed away on 26 February 2024 due to prolonged illness.'

 

According to media reports, Pankaj Udhas died on February 26 at around 11 am in Breach Candy Hospital. The singer was ill for a long time. His health was not well for the last several days. There is a wave of mourning in the film world due to the news of the singer's demise. His fans have been shocked. Fans are paying tribute to him by remembering him on social media.

 

Everyone is saddened by the demise of Pankaj Udhas. Popular singer and music composer Shankar Mahadevan is in shock. He has described the demise of Pankaj Udhas as a big loss to the music world. He said that this cannot be compensated. At the same time, Sonu Nigam has also written an emotional post on the demise of Pankaj Udhas.

 

Sonu Nigam shared the post on Instagram and wrote, 'An important part of my childhood has been lost today. Shri Pankaj Udhas ji, you will always be remembered. It fills my heart to see that you are no more. om Shanti'.
