There is some relief news for the countrymen facing the havoc of the Corona infection. According to the country's renowned virologist and medical scientist Gagandeep Kang, cases of infection will start to decline from the middle of this month to the end. Corona infection is at its peak right now. For the second time this month, more than four lakh cases have been reported and around four thousand people have also died. The increase in infection is that in a week itself, more than 2.5 million cases have increased.
According to Gagandeep Kang, there may be one or two more waves of corona infection right now, which may increase in new cases, but the situation will not be as bad as the current one. He said that at this time the corona infection is rapidly engulfing the areas which were left earlier. Infection is spreading rapidly in the middle class and rural areas. However, it is unlikely to continue its spread in these areas for long.
The actual number of patients far more
Kang also expressed concern over the dwindling investigation of the coronavirus while addressing a webinar. He said that the number of infection cases that are coming up in the investigation will be much higher than this in reality.
Anticipating yet another wave of coronavirus, he also said that nothing can be said about when it will happen. He said that we do not know much about the coronavirus nor do we know what form it will take next. So we have to be vigilant.
Corona will become like the bad flu virus
When asked about the possibility of the Coronavirus, he said that it will become like a bad flu virus. He said it would become a seasonal virus, as would a bad flu virus. Repeated infection and vaccination will create immunity against people. He also said that the coronavirus is changing form repeatedly and may outperform the immune system. To avoid this, we need booster doses. However, he is sure that due to the difficulties we are facing right now, we will not have to face such troubles due to this virus.
Active cases more than 3.5 million
Right now the country is facing the second wave of the coronavirus. New cases are increasing rapidly in this. In the last one week itself, more than 27 lakh infected has increased and more than 25 thousand people have died. The number of active cases has increased to 35.66 lakh, which is 16.92 percent of the total infected.
