So far a total of 4 crores 45 lakh 22 thousand 777 cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country. The death toll has now reached 5 lakh 28 thousand 273. Apart from this, 4 crores 39 lakh 47 thousand 756 people have been cured from Corona.
23 people died in 24 hours
The Health Ministry said that 23 people have died due to corona in the last 24 hours. Four of the dead were from Kerala. At present, the active cases are only 0.1 percent of the total cases while the recovery rate is 98.71 percent. Apart from this, the daily positivity rate is 1.89 percent and the weekly positivity rate is 1.70 percent.
vaccination campaign continues
The vaccination campaign against the corona epidemic is going on in the country. So far, more than 216 crore doses of the corona vaccine have been administered in the country. The first dose has been administered to more than 102 crore people. More than 94.61 crore second doses have been given. Apart from this, the figure for precaution dosage has crossed 19 crores. At the same time, 19 lakh 61 thousand 896 people have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours.
