Russia-Ukraine war: Ukraine gets new heavy tanks, conflict with Russia will intensify

The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has not yielded any results yet. How long this struggle will last in the coming days is very difficult to ascertain. Ukraine, which has been completely devastated by the Russian military invasion, has received a lot of military aid from other countries. Meanwhile, Britain's Challenger-2 tanks have arrived in the Ukrainian fleet to take part in the war.

 

Ukraine has long sought advanced battle tanks from Western allies, having previously refused to provide more powerful equipment over concerns it could escalate the conflict. But Britain had promised to give 14 Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine in January, following which the tanks reached Ukraine. Ukraine began receiving the bulk of advanced battle tanks. At the same time, Germany has also given Leopard tanks to Ukraine.

 

 

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said on Monday that Germany has delivered the Leopard battle tanks it has agreed to provide to Kyiv, as well as Ukraine's defense minister, Oleksiy Reznikov, said that their armed forces have added to our armored units from Britain. Welcomed a new Challenger tank.
