The Union Cabinet will meet today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Many important decisions can be taken in this meeting to be held today. Before this, there will also be a meeting of the Economic Affairs Committee of the Union Cabinet.

The government had given a special gift to the farmers

After the Union Cabinet meeting last month, the government had given a big gift to the farmers. The cabinet had approved an increase in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) on Rabi crops. The government had recommended a 9 percent increase in the MSP of all rabi crops, including wheat, by the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP).

The Central Election Committee meeting was held yesterday

On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the Bharatiya Janata Party's Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting on Wednesday. It is believed that in this meeting there was a special discussion on the finalization of the list of candidates for the upcoming Gujarat Assembly elections. However, the discussions in the media regarding the meeting of the Central Election Committee were not made public.

Many big leaders including PM Modi, Amit Shah, and JP Nadda were present.

According to sources, in this meeting held yesterday, PM Modi, Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, BJP State President CR Patil, and CEC and other members of the party's state unit were present in the meeting.

The election is in two phases in Gujarat

Let us tell you that the elections to the 182-member Gujarat Legislative Assembly are being held in two phases. The first phase is on December 1. The second phase is on 5 December. The results of the Gujarat elections will be declared on December 8. Polling will be held in 89 seats in the first phase while 93 seats will go to polls in the second phase.

BJP to launch 'Agrasar Gujarat' campaign

Significantly, the BJP has set a target of winning more than 150 seats in Gujarat. To achieve this target in the assembly elections, BJP will cover all 182 assembly constituencies to reach out to more than one crore people of the state. BJP is soon going to launch the 'Agrasar Gujarat' campaign. The party will soon release its manifesto for Gujarat. Many big leaders of the BJP, including PM Modi, will participate in the campaigning for the Gujarat Assembly elections.
