Mahua Moitra: Cash for Query Case 'Read my answer before inquiries', TMC MP Mahua Moitra issued a letter of two pages

Mahua Moitra, who was surrounded by allegations of asking questions in Parliament by taking money and precious gifts, has accused the Ethics Committee. Mahua Moitra says that the Ethics Committee is pressuring them to appear in the cash for query case.

TMC MP Mahua Moitra has given this information on the social media platform X. He has also issued a letter of two pages. He wrote- 'The Ethics Committee thought it appropriate to issue my summons to the media. So I think it is important that I also issue my letter to the committee before my hearing tomorrow.

 

Mahua Moitra accused in the letter

Mahua Moitra alleged in the letter that the Lok Sabha Conduct Committee sidelined his request to extend the date of hearing in the case and pressurized them to appear. He said that Hiranandani should also be questioned in this regard.

 

Ramesh Bidhuri's remarks mentioned

Along with this, Mahua also mentioned the objectionable remarks made by BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri on BSP MP Danish Ali. Mahua Moitra said that a separate view was adopted for the BJP MP, unlike the BSP MP in this case. He accused the parliamentary panel of discriminatory attitude.

 

Mahua is to be presented before the committee on 2 November

Let us know that Mahua, Lok Sabha MP of Trinamool Congress, has to appear before the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee on November 2 in the 'Cash for Querry' case. Earlier, Mahua was called to appear on 31 October.
