Pat Feb 18 (IANS) In a relief to Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, the Patna High Court Wednesday lifted the restraint on taking any policy decisions - imposed two days ago - but said their implementation would have to wait till he proves his majority.
"Manjhi's government can take policy decisions but all such decisions would be implemented after his government proves its majority on the floor of the state assembly," said a government lawyer.
According to him, any policy decision taken by Manjhi's government would be implemented after Feb 21.
Manjhi, who was expelled from his Janata Dal-United (JD-U) after refusing to step down from his post, has been asked to prove his majority in the assembly.
