Increasing corona infection in many countries of the world including China has raised the concern of health experts. The central government has asked the state governments to pay special attention to the potential threat. On the other hand, Adar Poonawala, CEO of the Serum Institute, which manufactures the Covishield Corona vaccine, has also expressed his concern.

Adar Poonawala tweeted that the news of increasing cases of corona infection in China is worrying. We do not need to panic, our corona vaccination campaign has been very successful. We should follow the guidelines issued by the Central Government and the Ministry of Health.

Things are very bad in China

According to the reports, one to one and a half lakh people are getting infected every day in China. This is more than any other country in the world. Apart from this, the death toll here is also two to three thousand per day. According to an estimate, more than one million people may die due to corona infection in China within the next three months. More than 80 crore people can be infected. However, officially the Chinese government does not accept these figures. According to WHO, 15 to 20 thousand new infected are being found every day in China. At the same time, 60 to 70 people are losing their lives daily.
