Corona cases have started increasing once again in the country. According to the Health Ministry, more than 300 coronavirus cases have been reported in Kerala alone in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 3 people also died during this period. The total death toll in Kerala has now reached 72,059.

 

2669 active cases in India

The number of COVID-19 cases in the country is continuously increasing and has now reached 2669. According to Health Ministry data, today 358 coronavirus cases have been found across the country.

 

The central government issued this advisory

Due to increasing cases of Corona, the Central Government has advised the state governments to increase the Covid test. Along with this, the samples found positive have been asked to send them to the lab for genome sequencing. Let us tell you that the first case of the JN.1 variant of Corona in the country was found in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

 

WHO issued advisory

WHO has also issued an advisory regarding the new variant of Corona. In the advisory, people have been advised to wear masks and not go to crowded areas. However, WHO says that the existing vaccine is completely effective on this coronavirus variant and there is nothing to fear.

 

Case found in America

The first case of the JN.1 variant of Corona in America was found on December 8. According to statistics, 30 percent of the new coronavirus cases found in America are of this variant.
