Covid-19 Vaccination: The cases of Covid are increasing again and to prevent it from spreading, the government has started giving booster doses to people above the age of 12 years through both private and government vaccination centers. For those who do not know, an interval of 9 months from the second dose is needed to be able to take a booster or a precautionary dose. For example, if you have received your second dose on 9 August 2021, you can receive your booster dose only after 9 months, that is, after 9 May 2022.
Apart from this, once you become eligible for the booster dose, an SMS notification will be sent to the registered mobile number. Apart from this, the Covin website also mentions that citizens will have to carry their last vaccination certificate which will contain details about their first and second doses. If you are eligible for a booster or a precautionary dose, here is how you can book a slot using the Covin website.
