The panel had a meeting on Thursday on the issue. Corbevax is the first indigenously developed RBD protein sub-unit vaccine by Hyderabad-based company Biological E.
Vaccines will be given to children only after the recommendations of the Expert Committee are approved by the DGCI. Currently, Corbevax is being applied to children in the age group of 12 to 13 years in the country.
