Whereas Kolkata Knight Riders' record is 100% with two wins in two matches. Shreyas Iyer's team will also be eyeing its third consecutive win.
Expecting a good start from Warner-Shaw
Apart from Pant's inning of 51 runs in the 20-run win against Chennai, the partnership of 93 runs for the first wicket between David Warner (52) and Prithvi Shaw (43) was important. Delhi needs a better start from Warner-Shaw against Kolkata. His areas of concern are Mitchell Marsh's poor form and fast bowler Anrich Nortje's lack of form. Khalil Ahmed also bowled well against Chennai.
Russell, Venkatesh becomes the strength of Kolkata
Kolkata's confidence has increased with the win over RCB. For this, Andre Russell, Venkatesh Iyer, and Phil Salt have to be in tremendous form. Delhi will have to be cautious of these three only.
