St. Thomas School and Vasant Valley School in Dwarka, Delhi, have received bomb threats through email. Five schools have received threatening emails today. Police reached the spot as soon as the information was received. Police are investigating. No suspicious thing has been found so far.

First of all, St. Thomas of Dwarka and Vasant Valley School in Vasant Kunj area received the threat. After which Mother's International School, Richmond Global School and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya also received threats. After receiving the threat, the team of Delhi Police, Bomb Squad, Dog Squad and Cyber Expert have reached the spot. Both schools have been evacuated given security.

10 schools and colleges received threats in three days

Releasing a statement regarding the news of the bomb, Delhi Police said that St. Thomas School in Dwarka, Vasant Valley School in Vasant Kunj, Mother's International School in Hauz Khas, Richmond Global School in Paschim Vihar, and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in Lodhi Estate received bomb threats through email this morning. In the last three days, about 10 schools and one college have received such bomb threats.

Threat to bomb Stephen's College and St. Thomas School

Earlier, the investigation into the bomb threats to Navy Children School and CRPF School was underway when on Tuesday, emails were received for DU's St. Stephen's College and Chhawla's St. Thomas School. Someone sent an email informing about RDX and IEDs being kept in the school.

On seeing the email, the school and college immediately informed the police. The police, who arrived on the information, evacuated the school and college premises and conducted a thorough search operation. However, the team did not find anything there. After a thorough search, the police declared it a hoax. The local police are trying to reach the accused who sent the email with the help of cyber experts. It is believed that someone has done this to harass.

In the year 2024, many schools and hospitals in Delhi-NCR received similar emails threatening to blow them up with a bomb. Investigation of those cases is still going on. The emailers are sending such emails using proxy servers.

North District Deputy Commissioner of Police Raja Banthia said that according to the college administration, someone has emailed that 4 IED bombs and 2 RDX have been placed in the college library. These will explode at exactly 2 o'clock.
