The match against Delhi Capitals on Tuesday did not go well for Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson. Sanju Samson was out controversially in the 56th match of IPL 2024 and then for arguing with the umpire, BCCI fined him 30 percent of the match fee.


 

One can see the anger of users on social media regarding Sanju Samson's wicket. Sanju was playing after scoring 86 runs when he was caught by Shai Hope at the long-off boundary off Mukesh Kumar's ball. Hope's foot was very close to the boundary line. Many people believe that Hope's foot touched the boundary line. However, the third umpire did not find any such evidence and declared the Royals captain out.


 

Samson's wicket changed the rhythm

Let us tell you that Rajasthan Royals while chasing the target of 222 runs set by Delhi Capitals, had achieved excellent rhythm. Sanju Samson stood at one end and scored 86 runs in 46 balls with the help of 8 fours and 6 sixes. As soon as Samson was out, the Rajasthan Royals team lagged in the match and lost the match.


 

Let us tell you that in the match played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi Capitals batted first and scored 221 runs by losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, the Rajasthan Royals team scored 201 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. Despite this defeat, Rajasthan Royals are in second position in the points table. The Delhi Capitals team is in fifth place.
