Atishi will take oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi on September 21. Other ministers will also take oath with her. Arvind Kejriwal had submitted his resignation to the LG on Tuesday evening and Atishi had staked a claim to form the government.
The Aam Aadmi Party said in a statement that Atishi will take oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi on September 21, and other ministers will also take oath with her. Let us tell you that Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena sent the resignation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to President Draupadi Murmu along with the proposal to form the government.
Earlier on Tuesday, Arvind Kejriwal chose Atishi as his successor before resigning from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi. Kejriwal, who reached Raj Niwas on Tuesday evening, handed over the letter to the LG. Along with Atishi staked claim to form the new government. The Lieutenant Governor sent both proposals to the President for approval on Wednesday. In this, the LG also gave the proposal to the President to administer the oath to Atishi on September 21. This file was also sent to the Union Home Ministry.
After getting approval from the President, Atishi will take oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi on Saturday. According to Raj Niwas sources, LG has voluntarily decided the date for the oath-taking ceremony. Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi did not give any suggestion to him for this.
Technically, the entire cabinet is considered dissolved when the Chief Minister resigns. For this reason, Atishi along with her entire cabinet will take oath. Some new MLAs will join this cabinet and some old ministers will be included. The Chief Minister will have the right to decide the names of the ministers and their departments. Sources say that ministers from Kejriwal's cabinet will join Atishi's cabinet. At least two new faces will also be seen in the cabinet. Along with Atishi, her cabinet colleagues can also take oaths. After this, a session of the Delhi Assembly can be called on 26 and 27 September. Where a vote of confidence can also be presented. Along with this, the legislative process will be completed and the issue related to Delhi will be discussed.
This will be Atishi's new cabinet.
With the announcement of the new Chief Minister of Delhi, discussions have intensified regarding the faces to be included in the new cabinet of the government. It is expected that all the old faces can get a chance in the new cabinet. At the same time, with Atishi becoming the Chief Minister, two new faces will also be included in it. The party will try to balance regional and caste equations on the vacant posts of the new cabinet. In this, a member of Scheduled Caste can get a chance. The other can be from any other region including Purvanchal.
These names are included in the race.
Sources say that the Chief Minister is not in favor of changing the current cabinet. In such a situation, it is expected that the current ministers can get a place in the cabinet. At the same time, many MLAs are in the race for the other two seats. One of these two seats is a general seat. Somnath Bharti, Durgesh Pathak, Sanjeev Jha, Dilip Pandey, and Mahendra Goyal are in the race to become a minister in this general seat. At the same time, Kuldeep Kumar, Vishesh Ravi, and Girish Soni are in the race to become a minister from ST quota. If sources are to be believed, a decision will be taken regarding the Delhi Cabinet by Thursday.

Under this scheme, the target is to give one thousand rupees per month to every woman above 18 years of age in Delhi. However, women who are employed or earning economic benefits will not get the benefit of this scheme. Apart from this, other public interest-related issues including the bill waiver scheme of the Delhi Jal Board will be discussed.
