Talks have been going on between India and America for a long time on a trade deal. However, now good news is going to come soon regarding this. This is what US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutkin has said. He has expressed the possibility of a trade agreement between India and America soon.
In fact, Howard Lutkin participated in the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum organized in Washington DC on Monday. During this, he said that a trade deal between America and India can be signed soon.
What did Howard say about the trade deal?
Howard Lutkin said, "Countries that take quick steps get a better chance. I appreciate India for this. Earlier it used to take 2-3 years to sign a trade deal, but now we are trying to complete it in 1 month. We have found a way which will prove to be a profitable deal for both countries. In such a situation, a trade agreement can be signed between the two countries soon." According to Howard Lutkin,
"I am a big fan of India. One of my close friends Nikesh Arora also lives in India. We often have house parties there and play cricket. Every moment spent in India is very special and memorable for me."
He said this on the friendship between PM Modi and Trump.
Talking about US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Howard says that both leaders have been given a great majority by the people of their countries. There are very few leaders in the world who have received such a mandate. This is the reason why the mutual relations between the two are strong and this will also make it easier for us to sign trade deals.
