Delhi Weather Update: A yellow alert was issued by the Meteorological Department, along with rain, wind will blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour

There was heavy rain in many areas of the capital on Sunday night. After this, very light rain occurred in many areas on Monday morning.

 

Due to this, Delhi received 14 mm rainfall between 8:30 am on Sunday and 8:30 am on Monday. The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for Monday. Also, light rain may occur in Delhi for the next six days.

 

Strong winds are likely to blow along with rain in these areas of Delhi

 

According to the department, there is a possibility of light rain in Bawana, Rohini, Badili, Model Town, Azadpur, Delhi University, Civil Lines, Punjabi Bagh, Kashmiri Gate, Seelampur, Shahdara, Vivek Vihar, Patel Nagar, Red Fort, Preet Vihar, Rajiv Chowk, ITO, Akshardham, Lodi Road, Lajpat Nagar of Delhi.

 

Along with this, light rain may also occur at some places in Faridabad of NCR. Along with this, strong winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour.

 

Bharat Mandapam received the highest rainfall in the last 24 hours.

 

According to the Meteorological Department, Bharat Mandapam received the highest rainfall of 23.7 mm in the last 24 hours. Apart from this, 17.3 mm rainfall was recorded in Lodhi Road, 16.2 mm in Palam and 10 mm in Mayur Vihar. This has led to a drop in temperature.
