What did the wife say in her statement?
Describing the incident on Thursday night, one of Asif's wives, Shaheen, told NDTV, "Around 9:30 to 10 pm, a neighbour parked a scooter right outside our house... my husband Asif requested him to remove the vehicle. The man abused Asif and threatened to come again and left. Within a few minutes, the man came with his brother and attacked Asif with a sharp weapon. I called my brother-in-law Javed, but by the time he arrived, Asif had lost a lot of blood and died."
Police are investigating the case
The police have arrested two brothers, Gautam and Ujjwal, in connection with the case. Ujjwal had allegedly instigated the attack. Actress Huma Qureshi has not yet issued any statement regarding this incident.
