The maximum temperature was 33.6 in Ridge, 32.8 in Aya Nagar, and 32.5 degrees Celsius in Palam. The lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 20.4 degrees Celsius in Ridge. Due to rain, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 97 on Wednesday, which is a satisfactory category. Noida had the lowest AQI of 76 in NCR.
Alleys and streets submerged in Delhi.
Due to heavy rain in the capital on Wednesday morning, roads and streets were submerged. Vehicles were seen crawling on the roads since morning. The areas around Ring Road, Connaught Place, Karol Bagh, Patel Nagar, Mayapuri, Dwarka, Dhaula Kuan, Safdarjung, Ashram, Bhogal, Turkman Gate, Nai Sadak, Jama Masjid, Pragati Maidan, ITO, DTC headquarters remained submerged. Even about three hours after the rain stopped, people were seen struggling with the jam. A car got stuck in a pothole amid waterlogging on the service line near the DTC headquarters. People took the car out with great difficulty and got into the jam cleared.
