In an interview given to 'Telechakkar', she said that Priya was a very calm, restrained, and cheerful person. She used to live with everyone on the set and never spoke to anyone in a loud voice. Expressing grief, Usha said Why did God call her so early? It was not the right age for her to go.

Usha Nadkarni also told that she wanted to meet Priya, but her husband, Shantanu Moghe, had requested her not to come. Actually, Priya's hair had fallen due to treatment and she did not want anyone to see her in this condition. This was the reason that many close ones could not meet her in her last days.
