Popular TV and Marathi industry actress Priya Marathe passed away after battling cancer. Priya, who left the world at the age of just 38, had made a special place for herself with her acting from the small screen to theater and films. Senior actress Usha Nadkarni, who had worked with Priya in 'Pavitra Rishta', broke down after hearing the news of her death. In an interview given to 'Telechakkar', she said that Priya was a very calm, restrained, and cheerful person. She used to live with everyone on the set and never spoke to anyone in a loud voice. Expressing grief, Usha said Why did God call her so early? It was not the right age for her to go.

Usha Nadkarni also told that she wanted to meet Priya, but her husband, Shantanu Moghe, had requested her not to come. Actually, Priya's hair had fallen due to treatment and she did not want anyone to see her in this condition. This was the reason that many close ones could not meet her in her last days.

Let us tell you that for the last few years, Priya was fighting a serious disease, cancer. She faced many difficulties during treatment, but her spirit always remained strong. Unfortunately, she breathed her last on Sunday. Her death sent a wave of mourning through the industry.
