Demand to ban RSS after PFI: Congress MP said - the work of both organizations is the same, then why ban one?

Congress MP K Suresh has given a controversial statement after the Popular Front of India (PFI) was banned. Suresh has demanded that like PFI, RSS should also be banned. Suresh further said- Sangh is also working to spread Hindu communalism in the whole country, which is like PFI, so ban it too.

 

Digvijay has said – Sangh makes Hindu terrorists

 

Congress veteran Digvijay Singh has also given controversial statements against RSS in 2018. In Jhabua, Digvijay Singh had said that all the Hindu terrorists who have come forward so far have been associated with the RSS. He had said that an inquiry should be conducted against the Sangh and then action should be taken.

 

Giriraj Singh said - Bye bye PFI

 

After the ban on PFI, Union Home Minister Giriraj Singh tweeted. Singh wrote in his tweet – Bye bye PFI. At the same time, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said- I welcome the decision of the Government of India to ban PFI. The government is determined to ensure that a divisive or disruptive design against India will be dealt with sternly.

 

Congress had posted the burning dress of RSS

 

On September 12, Congress shared a picture of a khaki knicker on its Twitter account. It is written in it – 145 days are left to free the country from hatred. However, the Sangh also immediately opposed it, and Manmohan Vaidya, the Sangh's Saha Sarkaryavah, had said that his father and grandfather had despised the Sangh a lot, but the Sangh did not stop.

 

Sangh has been banned 3 times

 

There have been 3 bans in India after independence. It was banned for the first time in 1948 after the assassination of Gandhiji. This ban lasted for about 2 years. The second ban on the Sangh was imposed in 1975 during the internal emergency. The ban was lifted after the Emergency was over.

 

The RSS was banned for the third time during the Babri demolition in 1992. This ban was imposed for about 6 months.

 

Now know about RSS

 

RSS was founded in the year 1925 by Keshav Baliram Hedgewar. The Sar Sanghchalak is the most prominent in the Sangh. According to a report, there are more than one crore trained members. The Sangh Parivar has more than 80 like-minded or affiliated organizations. The Sangh is active in about 40 countries of the world.

 

At present, there are 56 thousand 569 daily branches of the Sangh. There are also about 13 thousand 847 weekly congregations and 9 thousand monthly shakhas. Elections are held for the post of Sir Carew in the Sangh. He has full responsibility for the operation.
