The government has once again invited the wrestlers agitating against former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Singh for talks. Union Minister Anurag Thakur has given information about this by tweeting. Anurag tweeted that the government wants to hold talks with the wrestlers.

Earlier, protesting wrestlers Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia, and Vinesh Phogat returned to their jobs at Northern Railway. After meeting Home Minister Amit Shah, the wrestlers decided to return to their jobs. However, he said that he has not backed down from the movement, but he will not sit on dharna for the time being. Delhi Police may take a major decision soon in the harrasment assault case against BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The protesters are adamant about demanding the arrest of wrestler Brij Bhushan. Delhi Police has registered two FIRs against Brij Bhushan including POCSO Act.
