Dengue poses a threat in many states of the country, doctors' advice - be alert and get tested only in mild fever

UP, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu Kashmir, Gujarat, Delhi are some of the states where dengue has raised concern after Korana. Hospitals are full in many places. Even people are losing their lives due to this dengue fever. The demand for platelets has increased in the capital Delhi. The relatives of patients suffering from dengue are wandering from door to door for platelets. In the hospitals where there is no blood bank facility, the relatives of the admitted patients are making rounds of the blood banks.

 

Talking about UP, the number of dengue patients in many districts is being counted in several hundred. The condition is also bad in the capital Lucknow and dozens of patients are being found one day. Be it Aligarh or Bareilly, the situation is getting worse due to the presence of more patients everywhere.

 

Apart from this, the health department lost its sleep after the number of dengue patients reached 6704 in Punjab. State Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister OP Soni held a meeting with the officials of the Health Department and asked them to take the dengue case seriously. The number of dengue patients is increasing continuously in the state. The Health Department has divided the state into five zones. The maximum number of dengue patients in the state have been reported in Hoshiarpur 1009, Bathinda with 962, and Pathankot 835.

 

The danger of dengue is increasing continuously in Haryana. Every day 5 to 10 cases of dengue are being reported in Yamunanagar, Kaithal, Karnal, Jind, Ambala. The Health Department says that if you have a fever, do not be careless, contact the doctor. Get a blood test done if needed. So far 49 cases of dengue have been reported in Jind. During this, two people also died due to dengue in the district. The number of fever victims is increasing continuously in private and government hospitals across the district. Let us tell you that September and October are considered to be the peak for dengue.

 

At the same time, the health department seems to be worried about the ever-increasing cases of dengue in Jammu and Kashmir. It was told that eight to ten new cases are coming every day. Because of this, the capacity of beds for dengue patients has been increased, while a committee is also going to be constituted under the chairmanship of State Malaria Officer Dr. Belu Sharma. So far, dengue has been confirmed in 279 people in Jammu and Kashmir. Two of these patients have died. One patient was from Udhampur and one was from Sunderbani.

 

On the other hand, cases like dengue, chikungunya, malaria are also increasing in Gujarat. The Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital, Gujarat expressed concern about dengue, chikungunya, malaria, hepatitis cases. “So far 96 cases of dengue, 99 cases of hepatitis, and 63 cases of chikungunya have been identified. Seasonal diseases can be avoided through proper prevention.
