The aim of this policy is to eliminate age-group specialists and ensure that new talent gets continuous opportunities.
Vaibhav delivered a stellar performance in the 2026 Under-19 World Cup and won the Player of the Tournament award. However, he will not be able to participate in the 2028 and 2030 editions, even though he will still be within the Under-19 age category during both tournaments.
