The second session of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 was broadcast today. This annual program can be watched on the Prime Minister's official YouTube channel and Doordarshan. During the program, PM Narendra Modi said, "I am happy that the students of my country have a vision for 2047... If we want to become a developed nation, we have to align our habits with that goal."

Giving advice to the children, the Prime Minister said, "Discipline is very essential in life. It acts as the icing on the cake when it comes to motivation. If there is no discipline, then no matter how much motivation there is, it becomes a burden and creates frustration."

The second episode began with students from Tamil Nadu. After that, PM Modi went to Raipur and then to Gujarat.

Advice on Sleep

The second session of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 was held on February 9, 2026, through a live broadcast at 10 AM. PM Modi advised the children to get good sleep and laugh a lot to cope with stress. He said that good sleep brings fresh ideas and fresh thinking to the mind.

No need to fear AI

A student said that he was afraid of the increasing use of AI. Giving his insights on the subject, the PM said that one should not be afraid of anything, but remember that we should not become its slave.

He advised the students to become decisive themselves. The PM said that for some children, mobile phones have become their masters. Use AI only to the extent that it adds value to our work.

In the second episode of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026’, while answering students' questions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also gave important suggestions regarding exam revision and traveling in India.

How to revise, what did PM Modi say?

On the question related to revision, PM Modi said that one should start revising regularly about a week before the exam. He explained with the example of sports that just as a player becomes better with continuous practice, continuous practice is also necessary in studies. PM Modi also suggested a different method to the students – if a subject seems weak, try teaching that subject to a friend. He said that teaching others strengthens one's own understanding and helps retain concepts for a longer time.

What advice was given on places to visit in India?

When a student from Chhattisgarh asked about the best places to visit in the country, the Prime Minister emphasized getting to know one's own surroundings first. He suggested making a list of tourist destinations in their district and surrounding areas and gradually exploring them. He said that during travel, one learns about local culture, food, and lifestyle. Referring to India's diversity, PM Modi said that there are so many things to see and learn in the country that even a lifetime might not be enough.

This program has become one of India's largest education-related initiatives. Its aim is to reduce exam stress among students. Parents and teachers can also participate. Officials have stated that Pariksha Pe Charcha is not a competition, but a free platform where open discussions can be held about learning, pressure, and mental resilience.

Over 4.5 crore students registered

This year, Pariksha Pe Charcha has witnessed tremendous enthusiasm among students. So far, more than 4.5 crore students have registered to participate, which is even more than the Guinness World Record set last year.

According to the data, more than 4.19 crore students, approximately 24.84 lakh teachers, and about 6.15 lakh parents have joined this initiative. This massive participation clearly shows how popular this program has become in reducing exam pressure.

Direct interaction with students

Episode 2 brought together students from across India, and the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi interacted with students from Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, and Assam. This session featured diverse student voices, shared experiences, and provided essential advice on maintaining confidence and a positive mindset during exam preparation.
