Another wave of corona in the country is proving extremely dangerous. During the last 24 hours, more than 1 thousand lives were lost due to Covid-19. Whereas, cases of corona infection have crossed 1 lakh 84 thousand. On this uncontrollable situation in Corona, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray himself said on Tuesday night that the situation has gone out of control. While a 15-day curfew was imposed in Maharashtra to deal with the corona, a night curfew was announced in most of the states including Delhi-Haryana.
In the meantime, the ongoing vaccination got a shock when the news came that the state's vacancy centers were lying vacant due to a lack of wax. The Center has been accused of giving less of the vaccination on behalf of non-Congress ruled states. These states are Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Kerala.
'There is no shortage of vaccine in the country'
There was news that due to lack of vaccine, in some states including Maharashtra, many vaccination centers had to be closed. However, the central government has been continuously clarifying that there is no shortage of vaccines in the country.
Now Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan himself has responded to these allegations. He said that there is no shortage of vaccines in the country and the Government of India has given the vaccine to every state. It is the job of the state to meticulously provide vaccine doses at vaccination centers within a certain timeframe.
Harshvardhan said on lack of remdesivir
The Health Minister further said that there was a shortage of Tramadesivir medicine because the production of the drug was reduced due to the shortage in the cases of Covid-19. Our drug controllers and the ministry had a meeting with the shareholders and its producers were asked to increase its production.
Harshvardhan said- Drugs Controller General of India (DGCI) has given strict instructions on the black marketing complaint of remdesivir. Strict action should be taken against those who are exploiting people and willfully create shortages of medicines.
