Gujarat government will conduct corona test for those returning from Kumbh, CM Rupani said - will not get entry directly in the village

New Delhi: The RT PCR test of the coronavirus has been made mandatory for all people returning to Gujarat from the ongoing Kumbh Mela in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that devotees returning from Kumbh will not be allowed to go directly to their village. He said that the corona test of all people will be done.

 

 

CM Vijay Rupani said, "All the devotees of Gujarat who went to Kumbh Mela will not be allowed to go directly to their village. All people will be tested RT PCR. Those who are found to be corona infected will be kept in isolation for 14 days This order has been delivered to all the District Collectors. "

 

 

Millions of people from all over the country are taking part in Kumbh and a large number of saints have gathered there, which has been criticized by various sections of society because of the increasing Covid-19 cases in the country. A large number of cases of infection with coronavirus have also been reported in Kumbh.

 

 

Vijay Rupani said, "People who attend the Kumbh Mela will not be allowed to enter their hometowns or villages without investigation to prevent virus infection. All district collectors have been instructed that Kumbh Returning people should be identified.

 

 

Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel had come to Jamnagar with local MPs, MLAs, and senior officials to review the coronavirus. Rupani said that for the treatment of people infected with the coronavirus in Gujarat, 25 thousand to 30 thousand beds were arranged in hospitals in a very short time.
