The question has once again arisen on the security of foreigners in Afghanistan. On Monday, some militants opened fire at the Shahr-e-Nawa hotel, a guest house in central Kabul, two Taliban sources told Reuters news agency. The sound of the blast was also heard in the building. An eyewitness told that the explosion was very strong and several rounds of bullets also fired. Some attackers entered the hotel and fired continuously.

According to the information, Taliban spokesman Zabiullah has informed through a tweet that all three attackers have been killed. Zabiullah wrote in the tweet, 'There was an attack in a hotel in Kabul. All three attackers have been killed. All the guests present in the hotel have been evacuated safely. Only two foreign guests got hurt due to jumping down.

Please tell me that some foreigners were staying in this building. This hotel is called the Chinese Hotel because senior Chinese officials often come and go here. According to the information, the attackers entered the hotel while firing bullets. After this, he exploded. The Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) is believed to be behind the attack, however, it has not been officially confirmed yet.

Recently Islamic State terrorists carried out several attacks in Afghanistan

The Chinese embassy in Kabul did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment. There have been several bombings and shootings in Afghanistan in recent months, with some claiming they were carried out by Islamic State militants. The Islamic Taliban, who seized power in August 2021 after the withdrawal of US-led foreign forces, have said that their focus is on strengthening law and order in the country.
