On this Diwali, there is a possibility of a loss of 50 thousand crore rupees to the exporters of China. Whereas during this period, customers in the country can spend Rs 2 lakh crore on the purchase of Diwali goods. This information has been given by the Confederation of All India Traders (CAT).
CAT issued statement
CAIT said in a statement that like last year, this year also CAIT has decided to boycott Chinese goods. This will mean that China will suffer a big loss of business this Diwali. Due to this, China will have a business loss of about 50 thousand crores. Because many items have been refused by Indian traders to import.
No orders to China from 20 cities
CAIT said that a recent survey has revealed that no Chinese goods have been ordered in 20 cities. Diwali items, crackers, or any other items are not being imported from China. These 20 cities include cities like New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ranchi, Jaipur, Madurai, Bhopal, and Jammu.
The boycott continues after a clash with Chinese soldiers
Let us tell you that since the skirmish in Galwan with Chinese soldiers some time ago, there is a continuous boycott of Chinese goods in the country. CAT had carried out a similar boycott last year as well. This year also, there is a boycott of Chinese goods on Diwali. Because of this, the traders of China are constantly incurring losses.
Fashionable goods come to India
Most of the fashionable items from China are imported to India. These items are cheaper than the ones made here. This is the reason people buy them. But since the boycott started, people have shown less interest in buying Chinese goods.
