The government had decided to increase this policy started under the PM Garib Kalyan Package. Let us tell you that under this insurance scheme, the government has so far settled the claims of more than 1900 health workers. The objective of PMGKP is to provide accident cover of Rs 50 lakh to about 22.12 lakh health workers including health workers and private health workers.
