Elon Musk has announced that the first test of implanting a chip in the human brain has been successful. Elon Musk's company Neuralink has achieved this success. Approval was received from the US Food and Drug Administration last year

Neuralink was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration in May last year to implant a chip in the human brain. Elon Musk said that the initial results are quite encouraging. According to the information given on Neuralink's website, approval has been received from the Independent Institutional Review Board. The trial of the medical device PRIME (Precise Robotically Implanted Brain Computer Interface), in which a wireless brain-computer interface was tested, was successful. The purpose of this test was to assess the safety of implanting the chip in the human brain.

What is Neuralink?

Neuralink is a startup, which was started by famous billionaire Elon Musk in 2016 along with some scientists and engineers. Neuralink works to create brain chip interfaces that can be implanted in the human skull. With the help of these chips, disabled people who cannot walk, talk, or see will again be able to live a better life to some extent. With the help of the chip, neural signals can be transmitted to devices like computers or phones. However, Musk's company is also facing criticism. The company had earlier conducted chip testing on animals in the lab, for which the company was heavily criticized.

In the year 2022, the company also had to face America's central investigation. It is alleged that the company killed 1500 animals during testing, these include rats, monkeys, pigs, etc. However, the company had denied these allegations.
