Prior to this Test match, Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir will host a dinner for Team India at his home.
According to sources, Gambhir will host this dinner at his Delhi home on Wednesday, October 8th, before the second Test against the West Indies, which begins at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on October 10th.

According to news agency ANI, sources said Gambhir wants the dinner to be held outdoors in the garden area of his home, but if it rains in Delhi, it will be cancelled.
India currently leads the two-match Test series 1-0. Team India defeated the West Indies by an innings and 140 runs in the first Test played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Ravindra Jadeja (104 and four wickets) was named Player of the Match for his brilliant all-round performance in this match.

In the first Test, West Indies won the toss and batted first, but were bowled out for just 162 in 44.1 overs. Except for captain Roston Chase (24), captain Shai Hope (26), and Graves (32), no batsman could perform.
Mohammed Siraj (4/40) and Jasprit Bumrah (3/42) bowled brilliantly for India, while Kuldeep Yadav (2/25) and Washington Sundar (1/9) also took wickets.
India declared at 448/5 in the first innings. KL Rahul (100), Dhruv Jurel (125), and Ravindra Jadeja (104)* scored centuries for the team.
West Indies then failed to make much of a mark in the second innings, being all out for just 146. Jadeja took four wickets, Siraj three, and Kuldeep two.
