According to sources, Gambhir will host this dinner at his Delhi home on Wednesday, October 8th, before the second Test against the West Indies, which begins at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on October 10th.

According to news agency ANI, sources said Gambhir wants the dinner to be held outdoors in the garden area of ​​his home, but if it rains in Delhi, it will be cancelled.

 

India currently leads the two-match Test series 1-0. Team India defeated the West Indies by an innings and 140 runs in the first Test played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Ravindra Jadeja (104 and four wickets) was named Player of the Match for his brilliant all-round performance in this match.

India declared at 448/5 in the first innings. KL Rahul (100), Dhruv Jurel (125), and Ravindra Jadeja (104)* scored centuries for the team.

 

West Indies then failed to make much of a mark in the second innings, being all out for just 146. Jadeja took four wickets, Siraj three, and Kuldeep two.
