Farmer Protest: The Shambhu border has not opened even after six days of the High Court order, now this is the strategy of farmers

Even after six days of the order of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, the Haryana government has not opened the Shambhu border. On July 10, the High Court ordered to opening of the Shambhu border for the general public in a week. In this regard, one week will be completed tomorrow July 17.

 

On the other hand, seeing the number of farmers increasing again on the Shambhu border, preparations have also been intensified by the Haryana Police. The police have increased Vajra vehicles on the Haryana side of the border. Amidst all this, the farmers have extended the time for the march to Delhi by one more week.

 

Before this, on July 17 and 18, the farmers will surround the Ambala Superintendent of Police office and protest against blocking their way. After this, on July 22, the farmers requested a meeting with the opposition leaders at the Constitution Club in Delhi. After that, the upcoming strategy will be prepared.

 

After the meeting of farmer organizations led by Manjit Singh Ghumana at Shambhu Border, decisions have been taken on many important points. After a meeting of both the forms that lasted for several hours on Sunday at Khanauri border, it was decided that for the time being one more week will be waited for the Delhi march.

 

Meanwhile, the farmers discussed the proposed protest outside the Ambala Superintendent of Police office on July 17 and 18 and demanded the release of farmer Navdeep Singh Jalbera.

 

Let us tell you that the farmer organizations Samyukta Kisan Morcha (non-political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha have started discussing the decision of the Punjab and Haryana High Court in which the Haryana government has been given a week to remove the barricades from Shambhu border. The Supreme Court has also termed the government's decision to close the border as wrong.

 

Farmers will meet opposition leaders on July 22

 

Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said that the opposition has a demand letter and a meeting of farmers with opposition leaders has been requested at the Constitution Club on July 22. Where experts will give their opinion on this subject.

 

During this time, the farmers will meet the leaders of the opposition parties and demand a private bill in the budget session regarding the legal guarantee of minimum support price for all crops based on the formula of C2 + 50 percent profit. More than 200 farmer leaders from across the country can attend this meeting.

 

Let us tell you that after the court's order to open the Shambhu border, the farmers first held a routine meeting at Shambhu and then a meeting at Khanauri border on Sunday. Farmer leaders from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan attended the meeting. This meeting at the Shambhu border was led by farmer leaders Sarwan Singh Pandher and Jagjit Singh Dallewal.

 

It is worth noting that the farmers had announced to march to Delhi five months ago. After this, the Shambhu border was closed. Barricading was done by the Haryana Police on this border separating Punjab and Haryana.
