Father of 54 children died in PAK: Age was 75 years; Had 6 marriages, driving a truck filled the family's stomach

Abdul Majeed of Pakistan with 54 children and 6 wives died of a heart attack on Wednesday. Abdul was a 75-year-old truck driver living in the Noshki district. His son Shah Wali told that Abdul was driving a truck till 5 days before his death. Wali said- Many of us are educated, but did not get employment. That's why we could not even get the father treated properly. The house was also destroyed in the flood.

 

Abdul, who used to drive a truck all his life, could earn only 15 thousand to 25 thousand Pakistani rupees every month. His eldest son, Abdul Wali, 37, drives a truck like his father.

 

2 wives and 12 children died

 

Abdul came into the limelight during the 2017 census. Then the population census was done in Pakistan after 19 years. The census team found that Abdul was living with 4 wives and 42 children. At the same time, his 2 wives and 12 children had already died.

 

His first marriage took place at the age of 18. His 22 sons and 20 daughters lived together in his seven-room house. They took turns meeting the children and attending family events. Most of their children are below 15 years of age. His youngest daughter is 7 years old.

 

Children died due to a lack of milk

 

During an interview in 2017, he said – I did not have money. That's why many children could not get milk. Because of this, he died. Earlier he used to work very hard and gave good education to his elder sons. But now that I have become old, I am not able to do that much work.

 

Abdul had a wife and child who died together. He told- me the wife was ill and could not get her treated due to financial constraints. Ten children could not go to school because there was no money for the fees.

 

Before Abdul was known, Jan Muhammad Khilji of Quetta was believed to be the father of most of the children. He had 36 children.
