The number of dead bodies increased in the crematorium
People working at the Beijing Dongjiao crematorium in China's capital have claimed that there has been a surge in requests for cremation and other funeral services in the country in the past few days. The woman said that so many dead bodies are coming to the Dongjiao crematorium that cremation has to be done from early morning till midnight. The crematorium receives around 200 bodies every day. The woman also told that due to increasing cases many other people have also gotten infected.

Meanwhile, a top Chinese health official has said that China is facing the first of three possible waves of COVID-19 this winter. The epidemiologist said he believes the current spike in infection rates will last until mid-January, while the second wave is likely to intensify by the end of January. Junyo further said that the third surge in coronavirus cases will last from late February to mid-March, as people return to work after spending their holidays.
