After the acquittal of the accused in the Malegaon bomb blasts, the then-investigating officers have been exposed. The officers involved in the investigation were preparing fake witnesses against Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur in Indore. They not only threatened the witnesses but also lured them.

Wanted testimony against Pragya Thakur

After detaining Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur from Gujarat, the Maharashtra ATS had claimed that the bike in which the bomb was planted was registered in her name. This bike was repaired in Palasia, Indore. The ATS team reached there and accused mechanic Jitendra Sharma of helping in the blasts.

ATS people used to call him continuously for interrogation

Jitendra says that ATS people used to call him continuously for interrogation. ATS officials said that they should also take the name of Sadhvi Pragya. For this, the officers made him a government witness and also lured him.

Officers used to ask for Sandeep's address by posing as a postman and a vegetable vendor.

Sadhvi Pragya Singh, Lt. Col. Purohit, Ramesh Upadhyay, Ajay Rahirkar, Sudhakar Dwivedi, Sudhakar Chaturvedi, Sameer Kulkarni, Shyam Sahu, Shiv, Dharmendra were arrested in the Malegaon bomb blast case, but Sandeep Dange and Ramji Kalsangra were shown as absconding.

Ramji's house was also searched 50 times.

Sandeep had completed engineering from SGSIT. Sandeep and Ramji were accused of making bombs. Sandeep's father, Vishwas, was fed up with interrogation and statements. ATS officers used to come home sometimes posing as a postman and sometimes as a vegetable vendor. Ramji's house was also searched 50 times.
