FIFA WC 2022: Switzerland's game plan overshadowed Cameroon, defeated 1-0 in a thrilling match

FIFA WC 2022 Qatar: In the FIFA World Cup 2022, Switzerland made a winning start by defeating Cameroon 1-0. In the first half, both the teams were on par, but in the second half, Switzerland's game was a bit better and they won their name. In the first 15 minutes of the match, Cameroon's team looked more attacking, but then their game slowed down a bit. Jordan Shaqiri has become only the second Swiss player to play in four World Cups.

 

No goals were scored in the first half

In the 66th minute, the Swiss team made a strong attack, but the Cameroonian goalkeeper saved brilliantly to avoid a certain goal. The Swiss team also had a good chance to score on the corner kick, but the Cameroonian defenders avoided it by showing activism.

 

Cameroon fought continuously, but could not equalize the score. In extra time, the Swiss team made another excellent attack, but the Cameroonian defender, by swinging his body, prevented them from getting the second goal.
